Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Sam's Club #4703 – 10600 Coors Blvd Bypass NW, Albuquerque, NM .

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy.
• Operate forklifts safely, following company standards and guidelines when picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using data, resources, and collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
• Receive, organize, and manage merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, ensuring proper inventory flow and documentation.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and offering guidance on self‑service technology and purchasing decisions.
• Maintain safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials according to policy.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation, properly zoning the area, stocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and monitor shrink, security risks, and safety compliance.
• Assist with club pick‑up orders, staging products, and performing occasional audits for accuracy.
• Use inventory tools and equipment to manage goods, track inventory, control shrinkage, and report low stock levels.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely, reporting any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs to management.
• Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services, model and train others, and maintain equipment.
• Identify shrink opportunities and take corrective action to protect product and service quality.
• Collaborate as a team, build relationships, communicate effectively, and mentor peers.
• Act with integrity, hold oneself and others accountable, and support company values.

• Minimum: 90 days of prior forklift‑certified experience and ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred:
  Customer service experience.
