Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members, creating a talent bench.
- Coach and mentor associates to build client‑eling skills and high‑performance selling behaviors.
- Enforce department policies and procedures while ensuring all associates understand them.
- Evaluate and calibrate performance and productivity for direct reports, providing feedback and follow‑up coaching.
- Lead brand‑building efforts, leveraging social media and influencer presence to enhance client relationships.
- Drive continuing education for the team, focusing on product knowledge, client events, and targeted selling.
- Promote a positive, recognition‑driven culture and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Empower team to own internal and external customer issues and resolve them quickly.
- Oversee scheduling, balancing business needs with the promotional calendar.
- Create a culture of trust, collaboration and candid communication.
- Exhibit Saks Fifth Avenue culture and values through friendly, upbeat customer service.
- Plan and support client appointments to maximize results and inform about in‑store events.
- Execute client‑development initiatives with store leadership, marketing, vendors and merchants.
- Build and maintain a collaborative customer‑service team, handling escalations.
- Use data to identify spending patterns and opportunities to increase wallet share and repeat business.
- Lead acquisition and retention of new clients through marketing tools, social media, referrals and networking.
- Utilize clienteling tools for personalized service based on customer history.
- Stay informed of new merchandise to maximize selling potential.
- Drive sales and growth by developing client advisors and relationships.
- Develop detailed plans and manage execution, adjusting for risks and roadblocks.
- Monitor customer trends and adjust processes accordingly.
- Ensure audit compliance of inventory controls.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
- Track progress against departmental strategies and share best practices.
- Make data‑based decisions, analyze problems and propose viable solutions.
- Champion change initiatives, explaining benefits and challenges to the team.
- Relevant experience leading a team, with direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven track record of success managing a selling and operations workforce that achieves business results.
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social media (social selling) and Google Workspace.
- History of building, motivating and coaching teams to achieve objectives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Preferred:
Luxury retail fashion experience. - Preferred: 4‑year degree.

- Working knowledge and appreciation of Saks Fifth Avenue business and the fashion industry.
