Overview

Saks Global is a leading multi‑brand luxury retailer offering an exceptional shopping experience across flagship stores and digital platforms.

• Support the planning and buying teams during pre‑ and in‑season planning processes.
• Assist planners in developing pre‑season sales, profit and inventory targets and identifying opportunities and liabilities in season.
• Maintain daily and weekly reports for the merchant team and regularly analyze business at vendor, product category and classification levels to drive the business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to align on business goals and needs.
• Prepare pre‑market buy recommendations related to style breadth and unit depth by vendor and channel.

• Post‑secondary education or commensurate retail experience.
• 1–2 years in buying, planning or allocation capacity.
• Fundamental understanding of retail math and inventory management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with merchandising systems.
• Natural problem‑solver with financial and analytical lens; proactive, detail‑oriented and solution‑oriented.
