Summary:
Golf Shop Sales Attendants are lead orchestrators of customer service in the daily golf operations. They are situated at the golf shop counter and handle transactions, take phone calls, and make tee time reservations. They greet every guest with a warm and welcoming demeanor. They are resourceful about the facility and the products and services that are offered. Basic knowledge of golf course layout, terminology, flow of traffic, and etiquette is highly encouraged.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop or store
- Maintain accountability for all sales and money transactions made
- Collect applicable fees from patrons as they arrive
- Make reservations (tee times, classes, etc.) and assist customers on the phone
- Assist guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner
- Assist with rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly
- Assist with general cleaning of the shop or store
- Assist with creating appealing displays
- Assist with periodic physical inventories
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as required
