Mewbourne Oil Company is accepting applications for a SCADA Software Engineer in Hobbs, New Mexico to support field operations.

Mewbourne operates oil and gas production facilities throughout the Permian and Anadarko Basins. Our department's mission is to develop remote supervision and control functionality for our production facilities. Your job will be to develop and maintain our SCADA platform, which acts as an interface for our operators to interact with our facilities. This will involve working with petroleum engineers to build out new features, integrate new devices, and improve efficiency.

Day to day responsibilities will involve a combination of office, field, and hands on work. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to make high impact contributions to the daily operations of hundreds of employees and contractors.

Predominantly Monday - Friday with some weekend work, as needed. Mix of office and field-based work with frequent trips to field locations. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
