We are seeking a skilled and dependable Make-Ready Technician to join our growing team. The Make‑Ready Technician is responsible for preparing vacant apartment units for new residents in a timely and efficient manner. This position ensures that all units meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality before move‑in.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, be detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently.

• Inspect and assess vacant units to determine necessary repairs and cleaning
• Perform basic maintenance including painting and drywall patching
• Replacing fixtures (light, plumbing, etc.)
• Basic plumbing and electrical work
• Cleaning and touch‑ups
• Ensure appliances are in working order and report any replacements needed
• Replace locks, blinds, and screens as needed
• Notify management of any safety hazards or major issues
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the make‑ready supply room
• Complete work orders and unit turns within established timelines
• Assist with property‑wide maintenance tasks as needed

• 1+ year experience in apartment make‑ready, maintenance, or similar trade preferred
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and tools
• Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
