Field Mechanic III
Hiring immediately. Pay dependent on experience; paid weekly.
Typical schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (overtime eligible).
Pay range:
Dependent on experience; starting pay $30–$38 per hour, with discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus.
Location:
This role will be based in a field territory in Clute, TX.

- Two weeks of vacation PTO in your first year + sick leave and personal time after 90 days
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or rental background required.
- Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.
- Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains required.
- Must have the necessary tools needed to do the job; averaging $10,000+ in value.
- Experience working on industrial pumps, power equipment, and HVAC is a plus.
- Holding a TWIC or Safety Council OSHA Basic Plus certification preferred; need to obtain if not held.
- Basic computer knowledge for service work orders, parts ordering, and service‑related tasks.
- Inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure performance to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine service on equipment, including checking fluid levels, changing fluid, and lubricating.
- Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
- Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
- Team player; work well supporting your team to achieve goals.
