Financial Operations Leader

Are you ready to lead financial operations and drive cost efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment?

This position is essential for managing financial operations at our manufacturing facility. You will ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting while collaborating with various departments to improve cost control and regulatory compliance.

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and deliver financial statements, KPI reports, and plant-level P&L analysis; explain variances to operations and corporate leadership.
• Develop budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial plans in partnership with plant leadership.
• Oversee cost accounting functions: standard costs, inventory valuation, scrap, WIP, and overhead allocation.
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls; support external audits.
• Drive cost reduction, process efficiency, and margin enhancement initiatives.
• Supervise, coach, and develop plant accounting staff.
• Support capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and project accounting.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment; 2 years in a supervisory or controller role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing finance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel; experience with financial reporting tools (Power BI, Cognos, etc.) a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and high integrity.
