McPherson Middle School in Clyde, OH is seeking a dedicated and student-centered 6th Grade Intervention Specialist to support learners with mild to moderate needs. This position involves working collaboratively within an inclusion setting, providing co‑teaching support in the general education classroom, and delivering targeted pull‑out instruction. The Intervention Specialist will play a key role in ensuring all students have access to high‑quality instruction and individualized support.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with mild/moderate disabilities in both inclusive and small‑group settings.
- Collaborate and co‑teach with general education teachers to support student success in the classroom.
- Deliver pull‑out interventions aligned to students’ IEP goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and progress monitoring.
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families and team members.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Mild/Moderate).
- Strong understanding of inclusion practices, co‑teaching models, and intervention strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
- Commitment to meeting the diverse needs of learners.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
