Position: Recruiter I

Job Title: Recruiter I

Contract Duration: 1 year, possible extension

Location: Clyde, OH

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Pay Range: $20-$25/hour

Summary

The Recruiter provides essential support to the Talent Acquisition team by identifying qualified candidates and coordinating the end-to-end hiring process within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures a professional candidate experience through clear communication and efficient administrative management of recruiting activities.

Responsibilities
  • Screen resumes and applications based on specific guidelines to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews, drug screens, and hiring process communications.
  • Schedule candidates for New Hire orientation using a standardized, scripted process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and candidate data.
  • Engage in sourcing and screening activities, balancing time effectively between direct candidate interaction (75%) and sourcing/administration (25%).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the talent acquisition function.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous Talent Acquisition experience within a manufacturing plant environment is required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing talent acquisition role; 1+ year preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace tools is preferred.
  • Experience with job boards and recruiting software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask and remain target-driven.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
    Associates degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required for conversion to full-time employment (FTE).
  • 1 year of Recruiting or HR experience or recent BA/BS graduate with internship experience.
