Machine Operator
3rd Shift
11:00pm - 7:00am
$17.25 p/h

Exciting Opportunity for Entry - Machine Operators in Plastic Injection Molding! Join a dynamic manufacturing team where your attention to detail and work ethic are valued. As a Machine Operator, you'll operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines, ensuring high-quality production of plastic parts. Your role includes inspecting finished products, performing trimming, light assembly, packaging, and maintaining a clean work environment—all while following safety procedures and work instructions.

Role Overview :
  • Operate and oversee plastic injection molding machines
  • Inspect parts for defects such as discoloration, cracks, warping, or incomplete molding
  • Remove finished parts from machines or conveyors
  • Trim excess plastic and conduct light assembly tasks
  • Package, label, and count finished products
  • Record production and quality data
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Report machine issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to supervisors
Required Skills:
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Capable of occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching
  • Proficient in handling and manipulating small parts and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and focus
  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environments
  • Good work ethic and reliability
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or plastic molding
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE usage
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
Other Requirements:
  • Comfortable working in a clean, well-lit environment
  • Able to tolerate moderate noise levels
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts
