This role is for a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Clyde, OH
. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, support a secure environment, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour
Job Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM (as applicable for the site)

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with access control and general inquiries as needed.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with site management and local authorities as needed during emergencies or incidents.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
