Warehouse​/Yard Truck Driver - Class A

Full‑time Warehouse/ Yard Truck Driver

Earn $24.00 per hour; overtime after 40 hours.

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing Day Cabs and Yard Tractors
• 53’ dry van trailers
• Stand Up Clamp Truck
• Electric and manual pallet jacks
• Equipped with inward and outward‑facing in‑cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

• Yard driving responsibilities will include: moving trailers in and out of the dock as directed by leadership;
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers;
• Chocking trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading, and pulling from the doors;
• Warehouse work to be performed as needed includes: utilizing a clamp truck to stage and sort products for loading accurately; loading and unloading trailers; sorting and placing parts in racks or other designated areas; stacking cardboard boxes and pallets; packaging or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling); electronically scanning products using a warehouse management system.

5‑day workweek with both 2nd‑shift and 3rd‑shift start times available.

• Valid CDL Class C license required
• Current or ability to obtain a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
• The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, requiring constant alertness and safe operation. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety and that of others.

• Must be able to see and hear; vision includes close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting; use of hands to touch, handle, feel, reach; ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
