Storeman and Warehouse Administration

The Blind Factory is a well-known retailer in the window furnishing industry.

We are seeking someone for a Warehouse and Administration Support role at our office and warehouse in Clyde.

The role is to ensure the efficient functioning of the warehouse and the customer specific orders both in and out. As the storeman for the warehouse you will need to take pride and ownership of running it. A commitment to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers is a prerequisite in performing your duties.

• Unload incoming trucks safely and move finished products to correct storage locations in the warehouse
• Check delivery dockets for quantity and quality and report/record any non‑conformance
• Receipting inward deliveries into the computer system for all jobs
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and yard area.
• Allocating the fitters workloads based on demographics and workloads.
• Supporting the Office with Customer Service phone & clerical duties and the On Site Fitting team

• Experience in data input for inwards goods is a must
• You must be proficient on a computer
• An all round stores person with a positive attitude
• Physically fit to be able to undertake manual handling activities and unloading trucks
• High attention to detail and possess superior time management skills.
• Punctual with the right attitude to get the job done
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Access and Excel
• Experience in the window furnishings industry would be beneficial
