AMMONIA REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN LEVEL 2

LOCATION: COACHELLA, CA.
SHIFT: VARIOUS

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician Level 2 to perform basic electrical troubleshooting and all levels of maintenance, repair, and service of refrigeration equipment, safely and in full compliance with company and legal requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s largest carrot and organic vegetable grower, packer, and shippers. The company emphasizes delivering fresh, healthy, and safe products while caring for natural resources and investing in employees.

• Minimum of two years of experience in the operation and basic maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Understanding of and experience with regulatory requirements for PSM and RMP.
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Remote work not available for this position.
• Able to travel to Arvin for training purposes during Coachella offseason. Training will be limited to around 4 weeks per year in one week increments. Housing or housing allowance is provided by the company in Arvin.
• Able to read and understand written information in English.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

Total Rewards: $25.50 - $30.00 / HOUR

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
