This position is responsible for overseeing all electrical systems and operations. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and infrastructure. The specialist will lead a team of technicians, coordinate projects, and serve as the primary technical resource for electrical systems across the property. In addition, we strive to deliver our Five Star Experience to guests and fellow team members, guided by our Service Promise and mission statement.

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
• Lead by example and carry out our Five Star Experience to guests and team members by fulfilling our Mission Statement and Service Promise, following department service standards.
• Continuously coach and support team members to ensure they have the skills, tools, and resources to successfully complete their jobs, including delivering the Five Star Experience expectations.
• Lead and mentor electrical technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, gaming equipment, HVAC controls, and emergency systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to urgent repair requests promptly.
• Plan and execute electrical upgrades, installations, and renovations in collaboration with other departments and contractors.
• Review electrical upgrade schematics and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, permits, and inspections.
• Assist in managing electrical supplies inventory and recommend cost‑effective solutions.
• Provide input for annual budgeting related to electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
• Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to guests and vendors, and assist them as required.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures; attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
• Make difficult decisions in a fair and honest manner.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Supervise directly and indirectly all employees of the Maintenance Department.
• Adhere to the Tribal organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities which include, but are not limited to: interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or associate degree in electrical systems preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Valid electrical license or certification preferred; OSHA safety training preferred.
• Must pass periodic random drug screens.
• Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
• Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
• Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.
