Trainee Drainage Engineer

To live within a 30-minute drive of the main office in Coalville A willingness to learn new skills An excellent attitude towards work To be reliable and flexible A full UK Driving Licence To be willing to undergo a DBS and Enhanced Police Check The ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting other operatives and engineers when required To be able to carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure everything remains fully operational What youll be doing:
As a Trainee Drainage Engineer, you will be working as part of a two-person team and learning the practical skills required to carry out a range of drainage work.

Your role will include:
Operating high-pressure jetting and CCTV surveying equipment as part of a two-person team Attending drainage-related issues, including emergency callouts for blockages and pipe cleaning as part of regular maintenance programmes Carrying out drain CCTV surveys on both small and large projects to a high standard, using Win Can software for reporting Accurately recording and providing feedback on completed works Delivering a high standard of customer service Salary: £29,250 £ 35,000 basic salary, plus on-call bonus, with an average OTE of £40,000 per year.

Hours:

Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of 7.30am 4.30pm. Some flexibility will be required around start and finish times. Overtime and weekend work is also available. On-call rota:
The on-call rota is currently 1 week in 4, Monday to Friday, although this may change depending on employee numbers. You will also be required to be on call for either a Saturday or Sunday once every four weeks. Bank Holidays also need to be covered, with these shared between all engineers.
