CNC Machine Setup Programmer

CNC Manufacturing Inc., a precision CNC machining leader in Souderton, PA, is seeking a CNC Machine Setup Programmer. In this role, you will program and set up CNC mills and lathes to produce tight-tolerance components for diverse industries. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting tools and fixtures, optimizing programs, and performing in-process inspections. You'll work in a safety-focused, quality-driven, and collaborative environment with modern equipment, gaining hands-on experience while supporting continuous improvement and technical growth.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program CNC mills and lathes for production and prototype runs
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Select tools, fixtures, and offsets to meet tight tolerances and surface finish requirements
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize programs for quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to improve processes and reduce scrap
• Maintain equipment, tooling, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
• Document setups, programs, and revisions to support repeatable production
