Join the RAC Mobile Mechanic team in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You’ll deliver expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostics directly to customers on driveways, office parks and more. • You’re someone who gets people. Your work involves interacting with customers on driveways, chatting with them, giving advice and representing the RAC with pride.
• You like mixing things up. Each day includes servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks, managing stock, reporting and maintaining customer conversations.
• You think on your feet and make the right call for each customer, handling different fixes, faces and challenges.

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years’ hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

• Competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings up to £55,000 (incl. London Weighting Allowance if applicable).
• Guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• 40 hours per week, core hours 8:30 am to 5 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
• Own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided.
• Full time 40‑hour week, Monday‑Saturday availability (8 am–8 pm) for flexibility and stability.
• Option to work extra rest days after one month for £30 per hour; up to £3,000 or £5,000 extra per year.
