Position Summary
Eligible for $1000 sign‑on bonus. The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role on our automotive service team, learning and applying mandatory vehicle diagnostics and repairs. Under guidance, technicians perform routine inspections, vehicle assessments, repair procedures and assist customers in understanding mandatory services. The work demands mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and commitment to quality in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay Range: $16.63 - $24.99. Pay is based on a flat‑rate model rewarding completion of eligible tasks.
Responsibilities- Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance.
- Inspect steering, suspension and brake systems.
- Install batteries and check electrical systems.
- Perform tire maintenance.
- Install parts.
- Road‑test vehicles.
- Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within first two years; company pays testing fees and bonuses are awarded for passing.
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Valid automobile driver’s license; able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair, including oil changes, basic inspections and tire repair.
- Reading, writing and math skills.
- 2+ years of automotive repair experience or completion of vocational‑technical schooling or third‑party certification.
- ASE certification or equivalent external qualification.
- Medical, Dental & Vision – starting day 1.
