In this role at a property management company, you will own and manage payroll processing, including multi-state payroll, while also supporting key HR workflows. You will be a direct point of contact for employee payroll questions, helping ensure accurate processing and clear communication throughout the pay cycle.

• Manage payroll processing across multiple states
• Answer payroll questions from employees
• Review and approve payroll for accuracy
• Update payroll records as needed
• Issue paychecks
• Enter new hire information into the system
• Complete verification of employment
• Support internal and external audits
• Coordinate payroll tax filings
  , quarterly reporting
  , and year-end activities
• Maintain confidentiality with employee information

• 5+ years of payroll experience
  , including multi-state payroll
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Supervisory or team lead experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with payroll tax reporting
