Position SummaryWe are seeking a career-minded Water/Wastewater Engineer with an eye towards advancement to join our growing Water/Wastewater consulting practice. The employee will lead engineering design projects in the water/wastewater sector, utilizing knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards, and processes. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, developing and analyzing design elements, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects.
The successful candidate will work on projects such as sewer rehabilitation, new sewer and water distribution design, water/wastewater treatment, and pump station projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role requires providing efficient engineering services with limited supervision to support project objectives and ensure customer satisfaction, delivering high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.
CompensationHourly rate: $45-55, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. The range provided is an estimate; actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Experience working with local county and state clients.

Work is primarily in an office environment (95%), with occasional field work in various weather conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required.
