Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Geologist, Scientist, or Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to join our Hunt Valley, Maryland office. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of both field and office-based activities across a diverse portfolio of multidisciplinary environmental projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with drilling oversight, environmental sampling, and monitoring well installation activities.
  • Coordinate and supervise field subcontractors while ensuring compliance with project, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, document, and interpret field data, including drilling logs, soil classifications, and environmental observations.
  • Coordinate field logistics, including utility clearances, site access, and equipment mobilization.
  • Prepare field documentation, technical reports, and project deliverables.
  • Support environmental investigations, remediation projects, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding project progress and field conditions.
  • Travel to project sites and work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
Required Qualifications
  • BS degree in Geology with a focus on hydrogeology, geophysics, structural geology preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office suite) required; GIS experience a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel out of state for project tasks lasting several weeks or more.
Desired Qualifications
  • 1-5 years of experience managing and leading on-site activities, including drilling and well installation activities.
  • Current OSHA HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.

Pay Range

$60,000—$85,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
