Textron Systems, part of Textron, is a multi-industry company that designs advanced aerospace and defense systems. We are looking for an experienced PWB/PWA/Flex Design Engineer to join the Weapon Systems business area.
About this RoleThis role involves designing printed circuit boards, flex circuits, and wire harnesses, supporting advanced space applications. You will work within a multidisciplinary design team and contribute to the development of military qualified hardware.
Responsibilities- Develop new PWB/PWA/Flex designs and transition them to military qualified hardware.
- Specify appropriate PWB/PWA/Flex construction based on requirements and environments.
- Apply IPC standards, manage supplier fabrication techniques, and design controlled impedance path layouts.
- 3+ years experience in PWB/PWA/Flex layout.
- Experience with high density PCB layout using Cadence/Allegro.
- Knowledge of controlled track impedance, RF PCB, and guard track layout.
- Allegro PWB designer experience.
- Create and maintain component libraries.
- Expertise in footprint generation.
- Active security clearance preferred; eligibility required.
- AS degree in PWB design or equivalent.
