Job Title
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI to be considered.
Job Description• Design and document complex electro-mechanical assemblies and system components.
• Develop 3D mechanical models and detailed technical drawings.
• Manage design objects within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Maintain databases.
• Build prototype mechanical assemblies and perform failure analysis.
• Integrate mechanical considerations into electrical and cross-functional designs.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, manufacturing, and project management teams.
• Prepare technical reports and present technical data.
• Support system installation, integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree:
Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $250k+ yearly (tentative)
• Develop, read, and revise 3D mechanical models, detailed technical drawings, and assembly bills of materials (BOMs).
• Create and manage part models and design objects within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Generate facility layout drawings for equipment placement and infrastructure requirements.
• Produce and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) related to design updates.
• Maintain internal material and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) databases for tracking and accountability.
• Build prototype and deliverable mechanical assemblies.
• Perform failure analysis and recommend design modifications that improve system reliability and performance.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and incorporate mechanical considerations into electrical and cross-functional designs.
• Collaborate closely with electrical, software, manufacturing, and project management teams.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, proposal, and CAM inputs.
• Interface with vendors, contractors, and customers to support engineering and programmatic objectives.
• Present technical data and project updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Travel to field sites for system installation, integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Provide remote technical support as required.
