Aerospace Engineer Intern - Uncrewed Land & Air

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter.
• Participating in development of new products across all phases of the hardware design lifecycle from concept development to test and evaluation.
• Supporting hands-on ground and flight test events through test planning, test execution, and data reduction in a dynamic environment.
• Working with multidisciplinary systems and accomplishing tasks that cover a wide range of design activities on unmanned air vehicles.
• Conducting in-depth performance, stability and control, and aerodynamic analysis.
• Use, update, and write aircraft performance simulation and predictive tools.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in using, updating, and writing code in MATLAB or related software language.
• Understanding and willingness to apply Aerospace Engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Effective written and oral presentation skills.
• This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Textron's compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range for this position is $28 - $32 per hour.
