VP Corporate Controller for a diversified real estate organization with a clear, defined path to CFO

This role is ideal for an accounting‑centric leader who thrives in a hands‑on environment and is ready to guide a 15‑person accounting and finance team while shaping the financial infrastructure of a growing, multi‑entity business.

• Lead all corporate accounting and financial reporting across a diversified real estate portfolio
• Direct and develop a large, capable team with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence
• Drive process improvement, financial controls, and scalable systems
• Partner closely with executive leadership on strategy, forecasting, and long‑term planning
• Step into a true succession track with visibility and growth toward the CFO role

• Strong accounting foundation (CPA preferred)
• Experience leading teams and building financial structure in complex, multi‑entity environments
• Real estate, property management, or related industry experience is a plus
• Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on
