Job Overview
The Equipment Finance Structuring team structures, prices, underwrites and closes equipment finance lease and loan transactions role requires in‑depth quantitative and qualitative analysis to support Truist's balance sheet commitments and distribution risk decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Structure, underwrite, negotiate, and close equipment finance (EF) transactions.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members.
- Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative analyses to balance client needs with risk appetite, identifying, quantifying, prioritizing and mitigating transaction risk.
- Negotiate legal documents.
- Comply with risk policies and procedures.
- Work with originations, portfolio management, legal, compliance and risk partners to facilitate seamless execution.
- Demonstrate Truist culture and values.

The annual base salary for this position is $175,000. Additional incentive pay is available.
Required Qualifications- BA/BS degree.
- 11-15 years of related work experience.
- Solid subject‑matter expertise, including knowledge of industry drivers, product positioning, structuring and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to resolve complex issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills that foster teamwork, trust, creativity/innovation and accountability.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and insightfully.
- MBA degree with a finance focus.
- Capital markets or other product structuring/underwriting experience.
All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits.
