Equipment Finance Structuring VP
The Equipment Finance Structuring team structures, underwrites, and closes equipment finance lease and loan transactions. Requires in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis to obtain Truist's balance sheet commitment and support distribution risk decisions.
Responsibilities- Underwrite, package and close EF transactions
- Begin to exhibit independent structuring thoughts
- Mentor, coach and develop junior talent
- Demonstrate thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis; identify, quantify, and prioritize transaction risk
- Negotiate basic legal documents
- Comply with risk policies and procedures
- Work with originations, portfolio management, legal, compliance and risk partners to facilitate seamless execution
- Demonstrate Truist culture and values
- BA/BS degree
- 7-11 years of related work experience
- Strong technical skills (including financial analysis, modeling)
- Demonstrated analytical skills – ability to distill complex data into concise and relevant issues
- Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust and accountability
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to facilitate execution
- MBA degree, with a Finance focus
- Capital markets or other product structuring/underwriting experience
The annual base salary for this position is $125,000. Additional incentive pay is available for this position.
Equipment Finance Structuring DirectorThe Equipment Finance Structuring team structures, underwrites, packages and closes equipment finance lease and loan transactions. Requires in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis to obtain Truist's balance sheet commitment and support distribution risk decisions.
Responsibilities- Structure, underwrite, negotiate, package and close EF transactions
- Mentor, coach and develop junior talent
- Demonstrate in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis culminating in structures that balance client needs with risk appetite; identify, quantify, prioritize and mitigate transaction risk
- Negotiate legal documents
- Comply with risk policies and procedures
- Work with originations, portfolio management, legal, compliance and risk partners to facilitate seamless execution
- Demonstrate Truist culture and values
- BA/BS degree
- 11-15 years of related work experience
- Solid subject matter expertise including knowledge of industry drivers, product positioning, structuring and risk mitigation
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to resolve complex issues
- Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust, creativity/innovation and accountability
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and insightfully
- MBA degree, with a Finance focus
- Capital markets or other product structuring/underwriting experience
The annual base salary for this position is $175,000. Additional incentive pay is available for this position.
