We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst, Americas FP&A immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Under the general supervision of the Finance FP&A Flavor Solutions Director, the Americas FP&A analyst supports financial reporting and analysis to further divisional leadership’s understanding of actual financial performance and support the planning processes (forecasts, budget, etc.). This position provides reporting, financial analyses, interpretations, key metric reporting to management, and ensures consistent financial controls across the Americas businesses.
Responsibilities- Consolidate and analyze Americas region business results throughout forecast, budget, long term plan and Actuals cycles working closely with commercial finance and supply chain finance business partners.
- Assembling, analyzing, and presenting information as part of the business planning and analysis process to include month end profit reviews and quarterly forecast meetings.
- Work closely with commercial finance team to understand business drivers for all forecasts, budget, long term plan and quarterly cycles.
- Bridging of actual results to forecast, budget and prior year, as applicable, ensuring all major P&L components are properly recorded and adequately explained and communicated.
- Participating actively in projects and ad-hoc analysis/questions related to divisional reporting, pricing, COGS, etc.
- Continually standardizing and optimizing P&L processes/reporting.
- Develop slides for the Corporate Quarterly Business Review process, highlighting drivers of business results.
- Compile, report, and analyze complex data streams throughout various business cycles.
- Manage the consolidation and critical review of global reports to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Provide critical support for month-end global consolidation and detailed gross margin analysis.
- Participate actively in projects and ad-hoc analyses.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis experience
- Experience with transaction & reporting systems including, but not limited to Hyperion, SAP, Business Warehouse, TM1 or other local systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to make judgments based on analysis of factual information, practice and previous experience/reasonable assumptions required.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable required.
- Experience working with Sarbanes Oxley Controls, preferred; CPA preferred.
