Role OverviewThe Sr. Supply Chain Analyst reports directly to the Director of Strategic Operations and focuses on business systems execution. The role is specific to the Textron Systems ERP/Supply Chain/Business Systems knowledge in our Industry 4.0 journey. The analyst supports tool development, reporting, business systems integration and process improvement to drive standardization across the Textron Systems locations. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, data‑driven and customer‑focused, with experience in manufacturing and supply‑chain environments.
Responsibilities- Grow and understand Textron Business Systems and provide business system training to all Textron Systems companies.
- Work closely with IT business partners to translate internal customer needs and lead liaison for IT projects, coordinating requirements, development and testing (CRP, UAT, etc).
- Translate and support new functionality and sustainment from the business side (Oracle, Solumina, supply‑chain software, RAMCO, etc).
- Collaborate across functions and businesses to understand the needs of the business and drive supply‑chain execution and accountability to improve service level, cost, quality and delivery.
- Support each system business with a focus on improved delivery and cost to drive waste reduction and removal of hidden factories.
- Apply deep knowledge of bills of material, lead‑time management, pegging, utilization, capacity planning, bottleneck mitigation and supply‑chain relationships.
- Embrace safety, ethical standards and talent development to ensure a culture of employee care and growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Management Systems, Operations Management or a closely related discipline (or related experience).
- Experience with programming languages (Visual Basic, SQL, XML, HTML, etc.) and reporting/BI software (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) plus ETL fundamentals.
- Knowledge of relational database management and design (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Supply‑Chain Management experience in a DoD environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, networking, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Outstanding partnering and team‑building skills.
- Up to 20 % travel is required.
