Service Manager

Agrowing, premier specialist in energy management and automation is seeking a Service
Manager to lead the Baltimore, MD team. The ideal candidate is a technically strong, customer-focused professional who can manage a skilled team of technicians, ensure top-quality service delivery, and drive overall operational excellence. This is primarily an office-based position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department.
• Ensure all service contracts, maintenance agreements, and projects are executed efficiently and profitably.
• Supervise, mentor, and support service technicians, dispatchers, and coordinators.
• Maintain high levels of customer and team satisfaction through responsive communication and problem-solving.
• Develop and implement service procedures, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Support sales teams in estimating and quoting service projects and retrofits.
• Monitor department KPIs, budgets, and profitability goals.
• Ensure all safety and compliance standards are met.
• 5+ years of commercial experience in HVAC service or BAS controls, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, DDC controls, and BAS integration (experience with systems like Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Trane, or Niagara preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage service operations, budgets, and customer relationships.
• Technical training, associate’s degree, or equivalent work experience required; bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation Range:
Up to $115,000 base + managerial bonus structure.
