Job Type: Full-time, Weekend Commitment – Day/Night rotation; 7am-7:30pm / 7pm-7:30am

Pay: $37.15 - $57.58 per hour (Experience based)
Sign-On Bonus: up to $10,000.00

Job Summary: As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age‑appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Telemetry experience required
• Peds/PICU/NICU experience required
• 2+ years of experience required
• RN License in Maryland or Compact State (as applicable)

Additional Requirements for Pediatric Float Roles:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• STABLE within 6 months of hire
• Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire
• Preferred:
  Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – Pediatric or Neonatal

Additional Requirements for Critical Care Float Roles:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire

Float Pool

Schedule:

6‑week schedule with weekend obligation of 4 shifts, 3 major holidays and 2 difficult‑to‑staff days required. All staff eligible for shift incentives after flex obligations met.
