About This RoleThe position is responsible for the setup, calibration, and operation of equipment used in production, engineering and field support departments. Work is performed from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models. Responsible for capturing calibration outcomes and data using a web-based database application. Technicians will also create calibration processes and procedures for new equipment and perform maintenance or small repairs as required.
Responsibilities- Perform setup, operation, testing, detailing and or calibration of systems or specialized equipment.
- Follow established policies and procedures and assist senior technicians or engineers in basic process development or evaluation.
- Execute work orders within the calibration lab based on established frequency schedules.
- Calibrate a range of equipment and tools including meters, scopes, generators, pressure and temperature devices, analyzers, RF equipment, test tools, torque wrenches, ESD benches, and weight scales.
- Capture calibration results and maintain calibration records as required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical technical theory.
- Ability to work with general direction to determine approaches to solutions.
- Able to collaborate with outside suppliers and internal customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and related tools.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Results-driven with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction and showing initiative.
- Experience with a calibration database program and/or a MRP program such as Oracle.
- 2+ years of experience in a calibration lab.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
- Technical program, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in a technical related field preferred.

Compensation and BenefitsTextron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and benefits programs. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and time away from work. The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $46.30 per hour, and is a general guide based on experience and qualifications.
