Job Overview
Maryland Masonic Homes, a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) nestled in the rolling hills of Hunt Valley, Maryland, offers an opportunity in the Building Management Department for a Maintenance Technician II
. The Maintenance Mechanic II reports to the Director of Building Management and is responsible for the general maintenance of the entire facility with little or no supervision.
- Electrical work
- Plumbing (contact with drains, toilets, and sewer pipes)
- Painting
- General repair work, including medical equipment that will be decontaminated before service
The role involves heavy physical labor such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, lifting, and carrying heavy objects, and operating tools and equipment. Some duties may expose the employee to hazardous conditions, including adverse weather, sewage, electricity, and potential biological hazards such as infectious diseases and body fluids.
QualificationsMust have a valid driver's license and a clean 3‑year MVR. A resume is required for this position.
