Warehouse Supervisor

Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety standards, conducting safety audits, and leading a team to achieve productivity and quality goals.

• Lead an All-Star Team - Inspire and coordinate warehouse staff across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
• Become an Inventory Maestro - Monitor inventory levels with precision and maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system.
• Champion Workplace Safety - Conduct regular safety audits that identify potential hazards, ensuring OSHA compliance and implementing corrective actions.
• Safety Culture Builder - Create and enforce safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and equipment handling procedures.
• Efficiency Architect - Optimize warehouse layout to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Talent Developer - Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance standards.
• Cross-Departmental Collaborator - Work with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure flawless order fulfillment.
• Data-Driven Decision Maker - Prepare and analyze reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and performance.
• Problem Solver - Address issues related to damaged goods, discrepancies, or delays with solutions.
• Internal Customer Champion - Supervise and coordinate shipments to internal remote customers with attention to detail.
• Team Mentor - Provide guidance and training to help Associates grow their skills.
• Resource Optimization Specialist - Coordinate overtime needs to support manufacturing while managing costs.
• Materials Movement Coordinator - Ensure materials flow efficiently between buildings to maintain operational continuity.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in warehouse operations
• 1 year in a leadership role
• 3 years SAP knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and shipping/receiving
• Domestic logistics and transportation experience

• Associate or bachelor’s degree

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards

BD emphasizes on-site collaboration. A minimum of 4 days in-office per week is preferred for most roles. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements indicated in the job posting.
