We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and form metal components while ensuring quality workmanship and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brakes, shears, and other fabrication equipment to process structural steel and miscellaneous metal products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, shop prints, and work orders.
• Measure, mark, and lay out materials using tape measures, squares, levels, and other precision measuring tools.
• Inspect completed parts to verify quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
• Move materials safely throughout the facility using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience operating press brakes, shears, or similar fabrication equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience working with structural steel or miscellaneous metal fabrication.
• Proficient with measuring, layout, and precision hand tools.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work and following safety procedures.
