Vehicle Acquisition Specialist

We're looking for an energetic, outgoing professional to help grow our inventory by purchasing quality vehicles directly from customers. If you enjoy meeting people, negotiating, building relationships, and creating opportunities, this could be the perfect career for you. Your primary responsibility is helping customers sell or trade their vehicles—even if they aren't purchasing one from us. You'll work with internet leads, phone inquiries, service customers, and walk-in traffic to acquire inventory that our dealership needs.

No automotive buying experience? That's okay. We provide extensive training for the right person.

Your day will consist of: calling customers who requested vehicle appraisals, following up with equity and trade opportunities, contacting previous customers, working with the service department to identify potential sellers, meeting customers for vehicle inspections, taking photos and documenting vehicle condition, presenting purchase offers, following up on pending opportunities, updating customer records and activity. Every day is different, and you'll spend time both on the phone and face-to-face with customers.

We're looking for someone who is outgoing and personable, comfortable talking with new people every day, competitive and goal-oriented, self-motivated, coachable, organized, professional, confident negotiating with customers, comfortable using computers and CRM software, driven by performance bonuses. Experience in automotive sales, purchasing, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or outside sales is a plus—but not required.

Successful Vehicle Acquisition Specialists love talking with people, build trust quickly, ask great questions, stay organized with follow-up, handle objections professionally, are motivated by performance incentives, don't give up after hearing "no", look for opportunities everywhere.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, monthly performance bonuses, additional incentives based on vehicles purchased, paid training, career advancement opportunities. Top performers can significantly increase their income through bonus opportunities.
