The Escrow Assistant provides in-office administrative and operational support to the escrow team while also serving as the receptionist the office. This role assists with file preparation, earnest money processing, and closing support, in addition to handling receptionist responsibilities such as greeting clients, answering phones, and preparing closing rooms.
LOCATION:
This position is based on site at one of our offices located in Cody, Laramie, or Cheyenne.
HOURS:
Full-Time / Monday – Friday / 8am – 5pm
- Assist with escrow file preparation and document organization
- Support earnest money processing and tracking
- Manage file close-outs and post-closing administrative tasks
- Provide general administrative support to escrow officers
- Coordinate with remote processing support as needed
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Prepare and set up closing rooms for appointments
- Maintain organization and presentation of the front office
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Administrative, customer service, or office support experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced office environment
- Experience in title, escrow, mortgage, banking, real estate transactions, or a related field
- Familiarity with escrow processes, closing documentation, or earnest money handling
- Preferred (but not required) Notary Public, State of Wyoming
- Preferred Title Insurance Producers license, preferred must be obtained, within 90 days of date of hire
