The Wild West Collective is a woman‑owned small business that has become NW Wyoming’s premiere event rentals and planning company.
We are a full‑service event rentals company, offering everything from flatware and napkins to tents and dance floors, and also provide wedding and event planning and design services.
EVENT LABORERAn event laborer is a seasonal position with work usually occurring from mid‑May through mid‑October, with the option to transition to year‑round status for high performers.
As a member of the rentals team, you will deliver, set up, tear down, and pick up rentals for events during the rentals season.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Process, maintain, and package party rental equipment including tents, folding chairs & tables, dance floors, lighting, and miscellaneous supplies using hand trucks and hand tools.
- Set up and remove party rental equipment in all weather conditions.
- Load equipment onto trailers or trucks for delivery to event locations.
- Set up and disassemble tents, dance floors, and other large equipment items.
- Perform other related general labor tasks as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Physically and mentally fit to endure long and demanding workdays.
- Able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours.
- Team player with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to take instruction and execute tasks promptly.
- Experience setting up event frame tents or event trusses is a plus.
- Background check required.
This position can be part‑time or full‑time during the rentals season, depending on applicant needs. Primary working days are Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday, with occasional work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
STARTING PAYAll positions start at $20 per hour for the first six weeks.
RAISESAfter the first six weeks, employees may receive a $1 per hour raise every four weeks, up to $22 per hour during the first year.
OVERTIMEPositions are hourly and eligible for overtime over 40 hours per week at 1.5× the regular rate ($30–$33 per hour).
BENEFITSSeasonal employees are not offered additional benefits such as health insurance.
HOUSINGSeasonal employees may use the company’s 4‑bedroom, 2‑bath house located one block from downtown Cody, Wyoming. Rent is withheld from weekly paychecks and all amenities are provided.
