As a Communications Technician Assistant, you will be trained to install, test, certify, and maintain Pacifi Corp communications systems including but not limited to the following voice and data communication systems: telephone systems, analog and digital microwave radio systems, land mobile radio systems, SCADA and MAS systems, power line carrier equipment, telemetry, tone relay, fiber optics nodes and cable, and associated switching and termination equipment.

Configure and troubleshoot equipment and create detailed work and maintenance reports. Typically, you will be assigned to work with other company personnel on work assignments. Responsible for vehicles, tools and materials supplied by the Company for use in the role.

• Two-year College or technical degree in electronics, or equivalent formal military electronics training.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Internet browsers and Excel).
• Must pass Pacifi Corp's Electronic Technician Trainee pool exam.
• Must have a valid driver's license with evidence of a safe driving record.
• Must be qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV).
• Must be able to perform off-road travel in extreme weather conditions.

• FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License (GROL) with elements 1 & 3.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Previous experience as an electronic or communications technician in a utility environment.
• Winter survival and snow cat training.
