• Represent the company when meeting with customers to determine load requirements and advise customers of service requirements.
• Meet with new customers, document correspondence and work assignments per Customer Guarantees procedures.
• Prepare right‑of‑way easements, conduct field surveys, process crossing permits, and design expenditure requisitions and supporting documentation.
• Assist in load studies, construction planning, budget preparation and other duties as assigned.

• Journeyman level experience in utility estimating and planning or journeyman estimator experience through an apprenticeship program.
• At least five years of experience in design and construction in the utility industry, specifically distribution or transmission.
• College degree in electrical engineering or similar, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant utility industry experience.
• Qualified to perform all estimating functions related to building, rebuilding and maintaining company electric facilities.
• Basic knowledge of available marketing programs and other associated company programs to serve customers.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and detailed understanding of construction specifications, electrical codes, rates and service policies.
