• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, and maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patient being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• Lifting up to 20 pounds easily; occasionally lifting of up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients.
• Have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Certification: BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Certification: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend. Total Med Allied Job .
