Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, performs hands‑on nursing care for the residents within the CRH LTCC with emphasis on daily care needs, personal hygiene and cleanliness, grooming and skin care.

Current Wyoming Certified Nursing Assistant certification. A temporary nursing assistant certification may be accepted, but the permanent certification must be obtained prior to the expiration date of the temporary license.
EXPERIENCEPrevious experience as a nursing assistant in acute or long‑term care preferred. Previous training and/or education in nursing related areas or as a nursing assistant preferred.
SKILLS- Exhibits an interest in and understanding of the special needs of the older adult and others requiring long term care.
- Must possess a high degree of confidentiality in all matters with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control principles.
- Must have well‑developed motor coordination and manual dexterity to perform psychomotor nursing skills.
- Must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Has well‑developed written and verbal communication skills to interpret written instructions, and to communicate and document effectively.
- Effective computer and keyboarding skills.
- Must have ability to learn and use Microsoft Office Suite products including Word and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new computer software applications.
- Seeks out and attends educational offerings to maintain necessary clinical skills.
