• Assess and triage patients of all ages presenting to the emergency department
• Provide skilled, timely nursing care for acute and urgent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments and interventions per protocol
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the ED team to coordinate care
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in EPIC
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow-up
• Support critical access workflows and adapt to varied clinical needs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Department treating all ages
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Comfort working in a critical access setting and adapting to a broad scope of practice

• Strong triage and rapid patient assessment skills
• Comfort managing pediatric and adult emergencies
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and electronic documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Critical thinking and the ability to prioritize under pressure
• Familiarity with emergency protocols and ACLS/PALS algorithms
