Job SummaryWe are seeking a Workforce Development Specialist 1 to support training and documentation systems, training records, and content materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with technical documentation, training administration, and document management, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities Documentation Management- Monitor and follow up on documentation change requests.
- Maintain documents using appropriate software, standards, styles, and templates.
- Edit and proofread technical documentation for accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure document accuracy.
- Store documents in appropriate repositories while following data management requirements.
- Maintain documentation system data and records.
- Follow learning administration and training content standards.
- Monitor and follow up on training requests.
- Audit and update training content and assignments.
- Create and manage on-the-job training (OJT) certifications for controlled documents.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience writing technical documentation for new systems, equipment, or processes.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with subject matter experts and maintain accurate documentation.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with SharePoint.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working with training records, OJT programs, or certification documentation.
- Strong ability to learn new systems and applications quickly.
