Project Engineer - Coeur d'Alene

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in updating schedule.
• Track quantities and input time.
• Manage project public relations and stakeholder outreach.
• Coordinate with utility companies.
• Analyze project plans and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure construction is built according to spec.
• Track costs.
• Consult with clients, vendors or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Opportunity to provide estimates.
• Travel may be required throughout the state.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent working experience.
• Two or more years of proven experience as a Project Engineer or comparable position within the construction industry.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS Heavy Job and JD Edwards accounting software preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a qualifying driving record under company policy.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with GPS systems is a plus.
• Compliance with pre‑employment and random drug testing requirements.
