Colorectal Surgeon Coeur d'Alene Idaho

Who we are looking for:

Kootenai Health is seeking a fellowship trained, board certified/board eligible colorectal surgeon to practice at our regional referral center hospital located in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Ideal candidates will have a strong focus on quality, safety, teamwork and patient satisfaction and have experience working in busy surgical clinic and hospital departments.

• Joining an experienced group of five general surgeons and four advanced practice providers
• This position would include shared group practice call, but no trauma call.
• We enjoy collaborative relationships with our robust gastroenterology and medical oncology groups.
• 381 bed hospital with 17 ORs. Currently have two da Vinci Xi robots, with plans to add a third robot (a DV5) in the spring 2026.
• Dedicated OR block time, to include robotic block time.
• Typical practice would be 2 days of OR and 2 days of clinic each week.
• Level II trauma center
