Student Success Navigator - Health Professions & Nursing

Overview

North Idaho College is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-focused professional to serve as a Student Success Navigator for our Health Professions and Nursing programs. This position plays an important role in helping students navigate the path toward careers in healthcare by providing advising, guidance, and support from initial interest through program completion.

• Work closely with prospective and current students to explain program requirements and support educational planning.
• Coordinate admissions and testing processes, and connect students with resources that promote academic and personal success.
• Collaborate with faculty, Student Services staff, and community partners to support student retention, onboarding, progression, and completion within highly competitive healthcare programs.
• Maintain student records and databases, track student progress, and assist with reporting and compliance efforts.
• Support orientations, presentations, and outreach activities.

• Ability to guide students through complex processes with clarity and encouragement.
• Comfortable presenting information and working with student data systems.
• Build positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
• Bachelor’s degree and two years of full-time equivalent related experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Starting pay range: $44,548 - $53,458. Pay Grade: P4.

Work Schedule:

typical college hours are Mon‑Thurs 7:30‑5:00, Fri 7:30‑2:20.
