Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing responsible for supporting elementary students with hearing impairments in a school setting. The role is a 36-week contract in the Coeur d'Alene area, offering competitive hourly pay up to $56 based on experience. The position enables educators to enhance communication skills and inclusive learning environments for students with hearing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support elementary students with hearing impairments in a school setting
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans
  • Use specialized techniques and tools to support students' communication needs
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and development
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting instruction as needed

You have experience teaching elementary students with hearing loss. You collaborate effectively with SLPs, audiologists, and teachers. You are skilled in using specialized communication tools and techniques
